So the other day I found my copy of Dougal Dixon's "The New Dinosaurs". When I looked through the book and studied each creature, I began to realize that with a few adjustments to many of the animals, the book could seem much more plausible, and a great deal more exciting. So I began to doodle some redesigns, and even reassign certain species to new clades. So in "The Newer Dinosaurs" I plan to make some drawings of the species presented in Dougals book, with new names, descriptions etc, and capture them in a better light. Not only do I hope to recreate his 'infamous' species, but I plan to add more, to make this alternate world seem more full and diverse.
Yeah, it's a bit to take on, but I think it'd be interesting to take something and further develop it.
I have some interesting things in mind, and I don't wanna give too much away *coughflightlesssapientpterosaurscough* , but hopefully I'll go through with this, and hopefully it'll get the attention that it deserves ^_^
